Ms. Pine’s family came from a military background, so she traveled around the world based on where her mother was stationed. She actually graduated from a high school in Antarctica! Those travels sparked her interest in World Geography. She has two sons, one in college in California, and one who attends a DPS HIgh School. Her sons enjoy traveling as well. In fact, one of her sons trains as a Mount Everest Sherpa during the summer months. Before arriving at CEC, she taught at Morey MS.
