Steven was born and raised in Denver Colorado and grew up in Denver Public Schools. Steven graduated from George Washington High School and attended CEC as a part-time student in the culinary program. He ventured out to North Miami, Florida to attend Johnson and Wales University where he earned his Baking and Pastry degree with honors. He has since moved back and been devoted to the culinary field. Steven was the Pastry Chef for such places as Micole, Bistro Vendome, Adega, California Café, Aspen Baking Company, and also spent about eight years in total with The Sweet Soiree and Le Petit Gourmet Catering Co. In 2005 he got into teaching and has since learned to love and appreciate the joy of teaching young students who are interested in the same career that he has chosen.
