Stacey Hervey head shot

Criminal Justice/Forensics

Stacey Hervey worked as a Victim Advocate and then a Police officer before quickly realizing she had a passion for teaching young people.  She started her career at Mitchell Elementary school before finding her dream job teaching high school and college-level criminal justice courses.  In addition to her work at CEC, she teachers at UCCS, MSU and CCD. She stays current in the field through her work with the City of Denver Crime Prevention Commission and the FBI Citizens’ Academy Alumni Association.  She has two children and a plethora of furry critters whom she adores. When not teaching, you will often find her at a CU game or cheering for any local Denver sports team!
