Bob Smith is a Language Arts teacher at CEC. He was born and raised in a suburb of Philadelphia. In high school, Bob attended Bucks County Technical High School where he studied to be an automotive mechanic. It was there that he first saw how powerful an education in the trades can be for high school students! Bob received his bachelor’s degree in English and Education from Bloomsburg University in 2011. After working for two years as an English teacher near Harrisburg PA, he moved to Colorado in 2013. Bob has been teaching in Colorado since 2013 and joined the CEC in the 2023-2024 school year. Outside of the classroom, Bob is an avid rock climber. He spends most weekends and a few days a week climbing with friends. This passion has taken him all over North America and into Europe. In addition to climbing, Bob also loves to travel and learn Spanish.
