Sadie May is delighted to join CEC Early College as a Special Education Teacher, bringing her extensive passion and expertise to the role. With over a decade of teaching experience since 2011, Sadie has embraced a variety of positions, including English Teacher, Instructional Coach, Literacy Specialist, Literacy Interventionist, and English Language Development Teacher. She holds a Master of Arts in Curriculum and Instruction with a focus on Culturally and Linguistically Diverse Education from the University of Colorado Denver, where she received the Outstanding Student Award for excellence in academics, service, and leadership. Sadie also earned her Bachelor of Arts in English, with a minor in Secondary Education, from Metropolitan State University of Denver.

Prior to her career in education, Sadie successfully managed a 24-hour café in downtown Denver. Her dedication to student success was recognized when she was honored as Distinguished Teacher of the Year in 2016. Leading with kindness, compassion, and a commitment to serving others, Sadie is dedicated to making a positive impact through her work. She strives to create supportive and inclusive learning environments where every student can thrive. Outside the classroom, Sadie enjoys trail running, burro racing, and exploring new adventures with her family.
