Ninth Grade Academy (NGA), Aug 8-12

CEC Ninth Grade Academy (NGA) starts 08/08-08/12 from 7:30am-12pm. ALL 9TH GRADERS REQUIRED TO ATTEND!

During NGA, 9th graders will;

  • Learn valuable skills that will help set them up for success in high school.
  • Engage in team building activities with other CEC students.
  • Earn 2.5 elective credits (must complete a total of 16 hours of NGA)
  • Get cool swag!

Snacks will be provided daily and free RTD coupons will be available for those that need transportation.

** Please bring your old chromebook & charger!

Studies show students who participate in Ninth Grade Academy improve their academic performance, have a stronger attachment to their high school and their peer groups, and are more likely to graduate from high school.

Academia de Noveno Grado de CEC (ANG) comienza el 08/08-12/08 de 7:30 am a 12 pm. ¡TODOS LOS ESTUDIANTES DE 9º GRADO DEBEN ASISTIR!

Durante ANG, los estudiantes de 9º grado van a;

  • Aprender habilidades valiosas que les ayudarán a prepararse para el éxito en la escuela secundaria.
  • Participar en actividades de trabajo en equipo con otros estudiantes de CEC.
  • Obtener 2.5 créditos electivos (deben completar un total de 16 horas de ANG).
  • Recibir un botín genial.

Se proporcionarán refrigerios todos los días y habrá cupones gratuitos de RTD disponibles para aquellos que necesitan transporte.

Los estudios muestran que los estudiantes que participan en Ninth Grade Academy mejoran su rendimiento académico, tienen un vínculo más fuerte con su escuela secundaria y sus grupos de compañeros, y tienen más probabilidades de graduarse de la escuela secundaria.
