Bridging the Gap between Youth and Police

The Criminal Justice Department at CEC is proud to host a virtual presentation of our Fall-2020 Project, “Bridging The Gap Between Youth and Police”. This will take place on Tuesday, December 15, 2020, from 4:30pm-5:30pm. Please click here for access.

Consistent with CEC’s mission to support and guide students in real world and career experiences, an important component of our program is to engage in Project Based Learning (PBL).  This is a teaching method in which students gain knowledge and skills by working for an extended period of time to investigate and respond to an authentic, engaging, and complex question, problem, or challenge.  Given current events in society, our students chose their very relevant topic to “do something real and make a difference”.
